The Vice Provost for Global Strategies and Internationalization at Kentucky State University, Eric Yang, was in Brasília to attend the American College’s inauguration ceremony. During the event, he highlighted the relevance of the partnership and areas of interest for Brazilians, such as agriculture and technology. “Our Computer Science program, for example, collaborates with major companies like Microsoft and NASA, which demonstrates how much our institution offers a combination of practical learning and cultural immersion opportunities, preparing students for the global job market.” Yang also emphasized the support provided to international students, underlining the importance of cultural adaptation.

To facilitate the integration of Brazilian students, Kentucky State University offers language support programs, helping those who face linguistic challenges adapt to academic demands. “We have a program that helps these students with the language. If their English isn’t good enough, they can participate in our English as a Second Language program,” Yang explained. He also emphasized the importance of cultural exchange, encouraging students to share their cultures with the local community.

With this partnership, Hayek Global College and Kentucky State University offer a unique opportunity for Brazilian students looking to expand their academic and professional horizons. In addition to ensuring a quality education, the experience provides complete cultural immersion, making the learning process even more enriching and aligned with the global job market’s demands.
