How to get access to Rocket Chat on desktop and mobile | Hayek Global College

This is a quick tutorial of how to get access to Rocket Chat on desktop and mobile. With Rocket Chat, we connect students and professors of Hayek Global MBA from all over the world.

 

 

ROCKET CHAT DESKTOP:

 

  1. Access:

        https://chat.hayekcollege.com
     
  2. Click on the button: "Login with your Hayek account"
     
  3. A pop-up with a login page will show up. Scroll down until see "Or login if you have an account". Login with the same user/email and password of Hayek College site. If you are already logged on your Hayek account on this device, this step may occur automatically
     
  4. After the login confirmation, you may see Rocket Chat homepage and a menu with the #general channel (that contains all the users on the server including Hayek's staff) and the channels of the classes that you are enrolled in

 

 

ROCKET CHAT MOBILE APP:

 

  1. Depending on your mobile operating system (Android from Google or iOS from Apple), access and install the app of Rocket Chat:

        (Google Play Store) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=chat.rocket.android
        (App Store) https://apps.apple.com/br/app/rocket-chat/id1148741252
     
  2. Copy the link (https://chat.hayekcollege.com), open the app, and paste the link in the space below "Enter workspace URL" (do not forget the "https://"). Then click on "Connect"
     
  3. After the URL confirmation, click on "Login". On login page you may see the button on the top "Continue with Login with your Hayek account", click on it
     
  4. A pop-up with the OAuth login page will show up. Scroll down until see "Or login if you have an account". Login with the same user/email and password of Hayek College site. If you are already logged on your Hayek account on this device, this step may occur automatically
     
  5. After the login confirmation, you may see Rocket Chat homepage and a menu with the #general channel (that contains all the users on the server including Hayek's staff) and the channels of the classes that you are enrolled in
